THE SYSTEM: Car Wash, Paint Correction + Ceramic Coating Kit

Clean. Correct. Coat. Maintain. THE SYSTEM brings together four Mad Chemist car-care products for a coordinated routine, from vehicle washing and paint correction to Atomic Armor 75 application and later ceramic maintenance.

Included products

  • Mad Chemist Vehicle Shampoo
  • Mad Chemist Compound and Polish
  • Mad Chemist Atomic Armor 75
  • Mad Chemist Ceramic Spray

What it does

Vehicle Shampoo lifts dirt during washing. Compound and Polish addresses swirl marks, haze, and oxidation while refining paint clarity. Atomic Armor 75 provides a ceramic overcoat on compatible, properly prepared surfaces. Ceramic Spray supports later maintenance of gloss, slickness, and water beading.

Best for

  • Enthusiasts and detailers planning paint correction and ceramic coating application
  • Compatible painted surfaces that need preparation before protection
  • Building a coordinated coating and maintenance routine

The workflow

  1. Clean: Wash with Vehicle Shampoo according to its label directions. Rinse, dry, and complete the decontamination required for correction and coating.
  2. Correct: Assess the paint and test Compound and Polish on a small area. Follow its directions for pad selection, machine use, and residue removal. Correct only where needed.
  3. Prepare and coat: Complete all Atomic Armor 75 surface-preparation requirements, including removal of waxes, incompatible coatings, and preparation residue. Apply only under the conditions and at the thickness specified in its instructions.
  4. Allow to cure: Follow Atomic Armor 75's full curing and water-exposure instructions before washing or adding maintenance products. Ceramic Spray is not an immediate follow-up step on a freshly applied coating.
  5. Maintain: Once the coating's instructions permit maintenance, use Vehicle Shampoo for washing and Ceramic Spray according to its label directions to refresh the finish.

Atomic Armor 75 is a separate coating application step, not a spray-and-wipe detailer. Review each product's instructions, surface compatibility, and precautions before starting. Paint correction is an abrasive process; test first and use suitable equipment.

Four products. One coordinated process. Built by formulators. Not marketers.

What this product is

THE SYSTEM is a complete surface engineering process—not a collection of products.

Each component is designed to work in sequence, transforming the surface from contaminated and unrefined… to corrected, protected, and maintainable.

Most detailing routines rely on isolated products.

The System is built on chemistry, structure, and process alignment.

From wash to final protection, every step builds on the last—eliminating variables and maximizing performance.

When to use

  • Full vehicle reset / seasonal correction
  • Paint that feels rough, dull, or inconsistent
  • Before applying long-term protection
  • When stepping up from basic wash-and-wax routines
  • If you want real durability—not temporary results—this is where you start.

Why it’s different

Most car care products are designed to work alone.

That’s the problem.

Layering random products creates:

  • Inconsistent bonding
  • Reduced durability
  • Wasted effort

The System is engineered as a closed loop:

  • Each step prepares the surface for the next
  • Each product enhances—not interferes
  • Each layer reinforces the overall result

This isn’t guesswork. It’s controlled execution.

The System Explained

Do I need all four products?
If you want full performance, yes. Each product plays a specific role. Skipping steps reduces bonding, durability, and overall results.
Can I use Ceramic Spray instead of Atomic Armor 75?
Well yes and no. Ceramic Spray is designed to maintain and enhance a base layer of Atomic Armor 75—not replace it. Without a proper foundation, performance is limited. It will provide a temporary layer of protection, excellent water beading and easy cleaning for a few weeks. Its ultimate purpose is to maintain the performance of the Atomic Armor 75 in between washes.
How long will the results last?
That depends on maintenance, but when applied correctly, the system delivers significantly longer durability than standalone products. We typically see between 5 and seven years of film longevity. Much is dependent on the environment (constant beating sun vs clody 340 days a year) and how much washing and maintenance. The more abuse the shorter the lifespan.
Is this for professionals or DIY users?
Both. The chemistry is professional-grade, but the process is structured so it can be executed correctly by an advanced DIY user.
Do I need machine polishing?
For best results, yes. Proper correction ensures the protection layer bonds to a uniform surface, maximizing durability and performance.

Awesome product, super easy to apply after washing the car and delivers a great gloss. Fantastic alternative if you don't have a comfort level applying a full ceramic/graphene coating.
